We’re excited to announce an opening for a Head Registered Veterinary Technician. We’re looking for a team player who is experienced in ordering supplies/drugs for a busy hospital, managing schedules, comfortable doing dentals and taking full mouth radiographs, monitoring anaesthesia and calculating medications. This person will be a key member of our staff and we are prepared to compensate accordingly (based on depth of experience) as well as offer a signing bonus, medical benefits, and retirement plans after a 90 day trial period.

Our veterinary hospital is located in Belmont, California, centrally located on the San Francisco Peninsula with ease of access to the thriving recreational opportunities, sports, entertainment and cultural events associated with the San Francisco Bay area and the stimulating educational environment of nearby Stanford University. Belmont is also nearly at the epicenter of Silicon Valley and benefits from the vibrant environment that creates.

Head Registered Technician Skill Priorities:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience
  • Must have a veterinary technician license
  • Anesthesia monitoring and medication calculation
  • Adept at full mouth radiographs and dentals
  • Strong veterinary practice administrative skills
  • Excellent medical and surgical skills
  • High-quality customer service
  • Experience ordering supplies and keeping track of inventory
